Richard’s main passions are literature and film. Having been awarded a Masters Degree Distinction in screenwriting from The University of the Royal Holloway, he has written a number of screenplays. He specialises in drama and comedy drama, though recently has written some hard hitting ‘Brit-Grit’ scripts. He is also a novelist, ‘promising’ poet, song writer and poster artist.

With a BA in Contemporary Dance and an MA in Music, Judith has a lot of multi-arts experience (see also Judith’s multi-arts project gyroscopic.org). Her work in front of the camera stretches from a long stint in BBC Casualty to a well-watched Ronan Keating Video… with everything else in between. With all this experience she now makes her own films. If you’re lucky enough to find them, she holds mini FilmFests in Bristol and – in 2025 – at Edinburgh Festival

Came of age in a small northern town, escaping by balloon in 1977. Member of 2 bands loved by other bands, fellow outcasts and John Peel, but too underground for our own good and never likely to make money. A chance meeting with a blind Radio Producer at the BBC and 2 weeks helping out turned into a staff job and 23 years there, working for Radio Bristol, Radio 4 and 3, also television – mainly BBC2 and BBC4 on long running series such as Timeshift and Nature’s Weirdest Events and many others. Worked as a Radio Productions Assistant, Researcher, Assistant Producer and occasional Producer. Left the BBC in 2017 and freelanced for a further 5 years.
